The premise
Faroukou Mintoiba
Research · Writing · Institution Building · Africa–Türkiye Relations
Faroukou Mintoiba is a Togolese author, researcher, and international development practitioner. His work explores African politics, youth engagement, diaspora networks, and Africa–Türkiye relations through research, writing, and public dialogue to advance a nuanced understanding of Africa’s global role. He founded organisations that strengthen the voice, leadership, and representation of the African diaspora in Türkiye.
The work has one premise, held consistently across research, writing and institution building: a continent explained largely by people who have not lived in it will continue to be explained badly.
